Google Expands Pay-Per-Action (PPA) Beta – Now Worldwide

By Kirk Crenshaw

PPA Opens Up to the World

Google has just decided to expand their Pay-Per-Action Beta Worldwide to include all those who have received over 500 conversions in the last 30-days.  Here’s the news from Google:

Pay-Per-Action Beta Expanding Globally

What is (Pay-Per-Action) PPA?  This is an exciting new model that will give advertisers even more control over their spend. This allows advertisers to pay only for completed
actions that they define: a completed sale, a lead, or even a page
view. It basically changes an advertiser’s focus from refining cost per click and conversions to that of optimizing a defined conversion process (to ensure that the completed actions are driving the right sales/prospects).

Another interesting aspect of PPA is the potential reduction in click fraud.  Now a defined action has to be completed vs. a simple click.

Unfortunately it is only available on their content network – for now.

I’m hoping to see an invite soon!
